Spring is finally here in the Lakes Region and we are gearing up for our summer season. We have enjoyed seeing many of you back at the resort and anticipate we will see many more familiar faces this coming summer. We are still practicing many Covid-19 safety procedures, some of which include continuing to mask up in common areas, social distancing and extra sanitation in the units as well as the pool areas. This winter we introduced some fun children’s drinks at our pool bar, and we will be unveiling a few more in the coming weeks. The kids seem to really enjoy having items they can order from the bar and love using the convenient service window and doorbell from the pool area. We will also be introducing a few more fun adult beverages, so make sure to check out our beverage menu in the pool area during your next visit. Also new this spring are the additions to our game room. We now have foosball, air hockey, a claw machine and a tabletop video game station that has over 400 classic video games to choose from. This was a great addition to the already existing pool table and the three X-Box gaming stations. There is now a change machine in the game room for your convenience as well.

We are finding that these past several months we have been as busy as ever and would like to express that planning ahead is key. If you are looking to attend any organized event or rent a boat for the day, buy tickets and situate your boat rental early. Everything is starting to open up and the Lakes Region is going to be hopping. Also new to the Lakes Region this spring are Rail Bike Adventures, what a great way to explore the Lakes Region! The staff at our front desk are continuously keeping an eye on current events and keeping up with guidelines for area attractions and businesses. If you have any questions please reach out to our front desk prior to your arrival or while you are on property and we are happy to help. We are looking forward to a busy summer season. If you haven’t made your reservation yet, call us today before your desired dates are booked up.

See you around the resort,
Sue Violette

Spring has sprung at The Summit Resort! We are busy preparing the resort grounds, pools and recreation areas for your families to enjoy this summer.

Last year we expanded our family outdoor recreation area to include a sanded volleyball court, tetherball, a horseshoe pit, Corn Hole, and the tennis courts also received a bit of a face lift. The entire court has been painted and one of the two courts has been transformed into a basketball court. Guests can ask for racquets, balls, horse shoes and other items at the front desk. Also available in the recreations area, you will find barbecue grills and picnic tables for you to enjoy if you are using the facilities for the day.

“The Market”, located in the lobby of the Amenities Building, will celebrate its 1-year anniversary in May. We continue to listen to your request for new items in the store and are adding to our inventory weekly. Please stop in and check out our wide variety of candy, snacks, beverages, toiletries, toys, Summit Resort T-Shirts, mugs and beverage bottles. “The Market” also boasts a fresh ground Starbucks coffee machine and coming soon we will have a nacho chip station complete with warm nacho cheese.

This season we will be bringing back our “bucket drinks” to the poolside bar, located in the Amenities Building. These 32-ounce fruity and tropical concoctions are perfect for you to enjoy on a warm summer day while you are lounging in the pool area or relaxing in the sun on the back deck of the Amenities Building. Don’t forget to use the pool bar service window, we are happy to serve you.

This year we are also expanding our coupon program. We have partnered with many area restaurants, businesses and attractions and we are currently working on adding some new names to our list. Please feel free to ask us for recommendations on where to visit and dine.

We are looking forward to a fabulous summer season in the Lakes Region as well as welcoming you and your family to The Summit Resort, your home away from home.

See you soon!

With the long winter in our rear view mirror, the staff at the Summit have been eagerly preparing for the summer season ahead. The barbeque grills, picnic tables and deck furniture are out and ready for your families to enjoy. The outdoor pool and deck have been freshly painted and are waiting for you and your family to come splash around or just relax in the sun on a warm summer day.

We are looking forward to the grand opening of “The Market” at the Summit this Memorial Day Weekend. Located in the lobby of the Amenities Building, our owners and guests will now be able to pick up a fresh brewed cup of coffee as well as a variety of food items, snacks, drinks and Summit Resort memorabilia. Along with the new market, the Summit lobby area is receiving a bit of a face lift with new tile in the entryway, carpet and lobby furniture. We have worked hard to create a warm and inviting area for you and your families to relax and play.

We have added new refreshing beverages to our drink menu at the bar. What better way to spend the day than enjoying a delicious beverage by the pool or on the back deck while taking in the gorgeous views. Don’t forget about the service window at the indoor pool. We are always happy to serve you.

In addition to the amazing swimming pools on the property, there is volleyball, tennis, basketball, a children’s play area, corn hole and horse shoes. We also have great walking trails right next door at The Prescott Farm. You can access these trails directly from the Summit driveway.

With Weirs Beach just around the corner there are plenty of activities for your family. Take a cruise on the MS Mt. Washington or the Sophie C, ride the Winnipesaukee Railroad, play miniature golf, race go carts, visit the drive in movies, hang on the ropes course, or enjoy great restaurants and ice cream too. We have discounts to area attractions and restaurants available to all of our owners and guests, please inquire at the desk.

Once again, we will be welcoming back our owners and guests that have spent countless summers with us as well as first time guests. We always enjoy hearing about the events that have taken place in your lives over the past year, weddings, graduations, travel and the birth of new children. Swing by the front desk to say “Hi”. We are all looking forward to seeing you all at the resort!

Sincerely,
Sue Violette
