06 May 2026 Summer Ahead at the Summit Resort
Summer is arriving in the Lakes Region and here at Summit Resort we’re ready for a great season. With longer, warmer days and plenty to do in Laconia, the team has been focused on preparing the property to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable stay for our guests.
You’ll notice a number of updates throughout the resort. The indoor pool area has been refreshed and the sauna and spa are ready for guests looking to unwind after a full day of activities. Our outdoor spaces are also fully set up for the season. The barbecue grills and picnic areas are available for guests to use and the deck offers a comfortable place to relax. The firepit remains a popular spot in the evenings and s’mores kits are available at the Market and Front Desk for those who would like to enjoy it.
Guests looking for activities will find plenty of options on property, including volleyball, tennis, pickleball, horseshoes and tetherball, along with the children’s play area. We are also continuing improvements to the outdoor pool area and are working toward opening it as soon as possible for the summer season!
Nearby, Weirs Beach is open for the season with shops, dining and local attractions. Laconia Motorcycle Week will take place from June 13th through June 22nd and continues to be one of the area’s most well-known events.
