As we begin looking ahead to spring in New Hampshire’s Lakes Region, it may be hard to imagine warmer days just yet but they’re right around the corner! Soon the snow will melt, the trails will reappear and Summit Resort will come alive with the fresh energy that makes this season such a wonderful time to visit. Consider this your official permission to start thawing out those spring travel plans.
Spring at the Summit means the return of warmer outdoor fun. As weather permits, guests can once again enjoy basketball, pickleball, cornhole and horseshoes, along with relaxing evenings around the outdoor firepit. With Prescott Farm’s trail network adjoining the resort, it’s easy to head out for a peaceful walk or take part in one of their seasonal programs and events.
March is Maple Month in New Hampshire and NH Maple Weekend on March 21 & 22 is a great time to explore local sugarhouses and enjoy tastings throughout the region. It’s a sweet way to welcome the season. For something a little more high-energy, head over to Gunstock Mountain. On March 17 the mountain is hosting their Shamrock Shenanigans event, where you’ll have the chance to win a $250 Path Resorts gift card, we’d call that a lucky break. Then mark your calendar for Saturday, April 4, when Gunstock hosts its annual Pond Skim, where participants attempt to make a splash without actually making a splash.
We’re excited to introduce our Pizza & Pool Party, a cheerful and all-inclusive celebration that’s perfect for birthdays, family fun days or just because. Your party includes three hours of good times with locally sourced pizza, refreshing drinks, access to our tropical indoor pool, our onsite game room, plus a decorated private party space to relax and celebrate together. Guests can splash on the waterslides, take a break with air hockey and video games and enjoy quality time with up to 12 people, all with every detail handled so you can focus on making memories.
To maintain the highest quality experience for our guests, our indoor pool will undergo annual maintenance from March 30 through April 10. During this time, we’re offering special discounted accommodation rates, making it an ideal opportunity for a value-filled escape while still enjoying our other onsite amenities and the many nearby activities the Lakes Region has to offer.
