Defiant is a spot where you can “tap out and tune in” with the wide selection of delicious craft brews and thousands of vinyl records, the assortment of each is always changing.
The team at Defiant make it a point to rotate the beer selection, keeping the local New England based breweries and companies in mind. There is something for all tastes with the bar always offering twelve different draft beers on tap with multiple styles including wheat, IPAs, sours, pale ales, stouts, ciders and more. If you are not a huge beer fan, there is a variety of local wines and meads in addition to hard seltzers and many non-alcoholic beverages as well. The pub grub pairs perfectly with the selection of drinks with options including Sal’s pizza, Defiant’s specialty Tater Tots and oversized Bavarian soft pretzels alongside other delicious food offerings.
Adjacent to the bar and lounge is a boutique vinyl record shop with additional tables for seating to enjoy your beverages and tasty food. Customers enjoy perusing the thousands of vintage and new records for sale at the shop and each Saturday morning Defiant puts out new titles to check out. The bar hosts a live music night each Friday from 5:30 – 8:30 with different talented local musicians coming to perform for the Defiant crowd. Each Wednesday night from 6:30 – 7:30, there is an opportunity to get up and crack a joke or two for open mic comedy night which is always a good time.
