Summit Resort’s Fall Ahead

Summit Resort’s Fall Ahead

With the summer quickly coming to an end, it is time to look ahead to my favorite time of year, Fall in the Lakes Region!  The Lakes Region has many hiking trails near the resort. Whether you’re a beginner or experienced hiker we can steer you in the right direction of some great trails.  We are also right next door to Prescott Farm Environmental Education Center and you can easily access their network of walking trails from our property.  Prescott Farm is growing, as they are adding a 3,610 square foot Innovation Center and expanding their parking area.  The farm offers many educational nature-based programs throughout the year for visitors of all ages to enjoy. You can visit their website at prescottfarm.org to view their schedule of activities and programs available. This year Laconia will once again be hosting the Pumpkin Festival in the downtown area on Saturday, October 29th. For more information on this event visit their website at nhpumkinfestival.com

While staying at the Summit Resort, guests have full use of all of our amenities including the tropical indoor pool area, exclusive fitness center, and racquetball court amongst many others. You may also want to try some activities available to you at our sister resort, Steele Hill.  They now have electric bike tours and an outdoor laser tag course open until snowfall.  Please ask at the front desk for more information on these fun family activities. Did I mention this is the perfect time of year for apple picking, farmers markets, leaf peeping, covered bridge viewing, a trip up north and across the Kancamagus Highway, wine tasting, brew fests and great dining?  Experiencing fall in the Lakes Region is truly unique. Take a look at our special fall promotions on our website to plan your upcoming autumn getaway. We look forward to hosting you and your families at the resort and sharing some of our favorite places to visit with you.

See you around the resort!
