26 Feb Message From The Manager
Hello to all from our beautiful neck of the woods. Hoping this finds everyone healthy and safe. With the winter winding down and the days getting warmer we are looking forward to all things spring in the Lakes Region. This past year has been a challenging one for everyone to say the least. We have been taking extra steps in providing a clean and safe environment for you and your families to relax and let loose a bit. We have enjoyed seeing so many families coming back to the resort because, let’s face it, everyone is just ready to get away from the confines of their own homes.
Our pools are 100% in operation and we have been busy, busy, busy. Please know that we are still practicing social distancing and wearing face coverings, our new normal. We are asking our timeshare members to make reservations for pool space 24 hours in advance. Everyone using the pools will be asked to check in at the front desk and we will assign your party a table. There is a cap of 2 hours for use should there be other guests waiting to enjoy the pools as well. If there is no one waiting you may stay as long as you wish. We are still restricted to allowing a maximum of 50 guests at a time in the pool area and truly appreciate your cooperation in respecting this requirement when using the pools.
We still have a great snow base and know people are getting outdoors now more than ever. The Summit Resort is located next door to Prescott Farms which is accessible right from the property. Prescott Farm has a great trail system and we have snow shoes available at the desk to rent which has been very popular this season. Let’s not forget about Gunstock which is just 10 miles from the Summit Resort. March is Maple Sugar month in NH. All sugar houses will be following their own Covid-19 protocol. To learn more about maple sugaring in NH please check out the New Hampshire Maple Producers Association website.
The pools will be closed for annual maintenance from April 5 – 16, 2021. During this time we will be putting a new roof on the amenities building as well as taking care of all of the pool maintenance. Additionally, we will be tiling the sauna which is the only thing that is currently not available for use as we are not able to social distance in the sauna. Rest assured it will be fresh and ready for use when COVID-19 protocol has relaxed a little. We would also like to take a moment to remind you to make your reservation early as the Lakes Region is booking up fast for the spring and summer months. This includes all activities you may be planning to enjoy with your families. Call and reserve your spot now to plan ahead.
As always, we look forward to seeing you and your families at the resort.
